Even after so many changes, the controversy regarding the film The Kerala Story has not stopped. The Kerala Story is a Bengali director Sudipta Sen’s film. Since the release of the trailer the discussion of this film has started on social media. It is being heard that through this film an attempt is being made to spread hatred-filled mentality. It is being alleged that it is a ‘propaganda’ film.

The history of Kerala and the administration of Kerala are being hurt by this film. Regarding the film ‘The Kerala Story’, from the Chief Minister of the state to the opposition leaders have also made such comments. Despite this controversy there was no hindrance in the released of the film Today.

Several organizations like Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind filed a petition in the Supreme Court. They are try to ban the release of the film. However, the Supreme Court dismissed the petition. On Tuesday, the country’s top court made it clear that the film had been cleared by the Censor Board. Hateful comments vary. There will be no such aversion to seeing a movie as just a movie without seeing it that way.

The film is set against the backdrop of the forced conversion of Hindi and Christian girls in Kerala to Islam and joining ISIS. It was initially claimed that 32,000 girls in the state had gone missing in the past few years. The makers didn’t emphasize that number until later amid controversy. Basically, the director has to submit the documents related to the information presented in this film to the Censor Board. The film shows how Kerala has become a ‘safe haven’ for terrorists. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed extreme objection to this.

According to the makers of the movie, 10 scenes of the film have been changed. It was only after this change that the Censor Board gave the movie an ‘A’ certificate. But even after giving this permission, the controversy does not stop. ‘The Kerala Story’ is being released today after crossing the fence of so many controversies.
