Microsoft Remove Twitter From It’s Media Advertising Platform
This journey started a week back. Microsoft said in its announcement “starting on 25 April 2023, Smart Campaigns with Multi-platform will no longer support Twitter.” Microsoft has clearly clarified that “people will be unable to access their Twitter account through its social management tool; unable to create and manage drafts or Tweets; unable to view past Tweets and engagement, and would be unable to schedule Tweets”.
Microsoft was going to stop advertising on Twitter. When people saw this online, Elon Musk threatened to sue them because he thinks they broke the law by using Twitter data. He tweeted, “It’s time to take legal action.”
Elon Musk said that he might take Microsoft to court. He thinks Microsoft used Twitter’s information without asking first. Microsoft wants to stop advertising on Twitter because they don’t want to pay Twitter’s fees. So, Elon Musk challenged Microsoft in another way.
