After becoming the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk started the subscription service for Blue Tick on Twitter only last year. With this subscription service, a user can get a blue checkmark by paying a certain fee and after providing his/her identity proof.
Now after this a new news is coming out. Elon Musk himself tweeted on his Twitter that from next month Twitter users may have to spend extra money to read news articles. Twitter’s current owner Elon Musk informed on Saturday that from now on news media publishers can charge their users for reading their articles.
Sad News For News Article Readers
This news is not only a matter of surprise for the big news media platforms but it is even more sad for the readers who read the news articles on Twitter. Because now they will have to pay an extra amount for reading articles on Twitter. In a way, it can be said that it will work like paid content. Users can pay this charge in two ways. One is according to monthly plan and annual plan and one is irregular charge.
If the user does not want to take subscription on the basis of full month or year, then he can also pay the charge according to the foot article. However, Elon Musk has also informed that if users do not take the monthly subscription plan then they may have to pay more.

Microsoft Remove Twitter From It’s Media Advertising Platform
This journey started a week back. Microsoft said in its announcement “starting on 25 April 2023, Smart Campaigns with Multi-platform will no longer support Twitter.” Microsoft has clearly clarified that “people will be unable to access their Twitter account through its social management tool; unable to create and manage drafts or Tweets; unable to view past Tweets and engagement, and would be unable to schedule Tweets”.
Microsoft was going to stop advertising on Twitter. When people saw this online, Elon Musk threatened to sue them because he thinks they broke the law by using Twitter data. He tweeted, “It’s time to take legal action.”
Elon Musk said that he might take Microsoft to court. He thinks Microsoft used Twitter’s information without asking first. Microsoft wants to stop advertising on Twitter because they don’t want to pay Twitter’s fees. So, Elon Musk challenged Microsoft in another way.
