KVS Recruitment: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has opened its portal to recruit suitable candidates through the Limited Departmental Competitive Exam (LDCE). Candidates can currently fill up the forms through the website kvsangathan.nic.in
This mass recruitment initiative will fill up 4014 posts mainly including PRT (Primary Teacher), TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher), PGT (Post Graduate Teacher), Principal, Vice Principal, and even Non-teaching posts like Finance officer, Section Officer, and more.
To be selected for the desired post candidates will have to pass the LDCE test which will be held at the centers in the regional offices of KVS. This test will be computer-based.
The notice issued on November 2 informed that the KVS online portal will be activated from the first week of November and during this time candidates can go to the link and apply to their desirable posts. As per the notice, separate merit lists will be published and the candidates would be placed according to the provided vacancy for the year.

- • First you need to open the KVS online website, kvsangathan.nic.in
- • Go through the announcements available on the site and read them thoroughly.
- • Click on the link available on the website and apply for your desired Teaching / Non Teaching post.
- • Once the registration process is done the applicant will receive access to the link through their given email ID.
- • After the registration is done you can take a printout of the application form and keep it with you.
This year in July Union Minister of State for Education, Annapurna Devi, announced that over 12000 posts are currently vacant in Kendriya Vidyalayas all across India. Annapurna Devi explained, “
There are 12,044 teaching posts and 1,332 non-teaching posts lying vacant in Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. The vacancies arise due to transfer, retirement from time to time,” she further added to the statement saying, “Teachers are also engaged on a contractual basis for the temporary duration by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to ensure that the teaching-learning process is not hampered.”
In this KVS drive, there are 278 vacancies available for the post of Principal, 116 vacant posts for Vice Principal, 7 vacant posts for Finance Officer, 22 posts for Section Officer, 1200 vacant posts for PGT, 2154 posts for TGT, and 237 for Head Master.
The online application for KVS recruitment ends on November 9, 2022. The last date to submit the online application is 16th November and the verification done by the controlling officer ends on November 23. However, the date of the LDCE exam is yet to be disclosed.
