Director Shaad Ali who’s known for his hits like Bunty Aur Babli, Jhoom Barabar, and Ok Jaanu is going to release his brand new comedy movie Mister Mummy on November 11. This is the first Bollywood movie that is based on male pregnancy. Experiencing pregnancy from a man’s point of view is one of the most unique concepts and that leaves a high chance of pulling in an audience.

The trailer gives a fair view of Ritesh’s journey as a pregnant man. The trailer takes us straight to the plot and we see Ritesh explaining his symptoms to a doctor where another woman also tells the same. That’s when the doctor, Mahesh Manjrekar, concludes Ritesh’s character is certainly pregnant. The story is about how a couple, where one hates kids and one loves kids, navigates pregnancies and parenthood together. Yes, the trailer gives us a twist at the end where both are expecting.

The trailer crossed 12M views soon after it aired and T-Series made a tweet following

this achievement

Ritesh and Genelia are very much active on social media and engage with fans very often. The couple is also known for their vegan brand ‘Imagine Meats’ which has a large number of plant-based meats.

Besides this, the pair frequently shares funny skits on social media platforms and their audience seems to adore them for it. Ritesh and Genelia took to Twitter to share their excitement for the film.

After Mandeep Kumar’s 2012 romantic comedy-drama ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ Ritesh and Genelia will share the screen again for Mister Mummy and fans are overwhelmed.

For budget, it appears that Bhushan Kumar and Gulshan Kumar are supporting the film through their in-house production company T-Series, also accompanied by the Hectic Cinema.

Along with the comedy elements that promise the audience countless giggles and laughter, the film also makes sure to include sentimental scenes as well.

The recently released song ‘Chupke Chupke’ voiced by Armaan Malik and Shilpa Rao is a prime example of that. In this beautiful romantic song, we see the couple dealing with conflicts and heavy feelings when one is not ready to become a parent yet.

The song currently has over five million views on YouTube.
