Rihanna just came up with an announcement for her new song ‘Lift Me Up’ for marvel’s upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Marvel recently released a teaser where Rihanna was spotted recording a song for their upcoming film. The song is heard to be written as a ‘tribute’ to the legendary actor Chadwick Boseman AKA ‘the star of the Black Panther film.
However, it’s been 6 years since Rihanna is leading new music since 2016. Her last studio album as a lead singer was ‘Anti’ which was released in 2016. The pop singer decided to co-write ‘Lift Me Up’ with Terms while Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Goransson directed and produced the song respectively.
The ‘Lift Me Up’ song release date is October 28, 2022. Now fans will have to wait till next week when the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack gets released officially on Marvel.
Talking of Rihanna’s earlier songs as lead singer was “Sledgehammer” in the 2016 Star Trek Beyond film. The pop singer gained quite a huge attention from all over the world and received several awards and accolades for the song. Now the same is expected from ‘Lift Me Up’ since it is one of the most awaited songs by Rihanna.

Recently, Rihanna made collaboration with some known musicians including Future’s “Selfish”, N.E.R.D’s “Lemon”, Kendrick Lamar’s “Loyalty”, DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” and more. Moreover, the pop celebrity co-starred in the music video for “D.M.B” with A$AP Rocky.
