Spicejet Hikes Pilots Salary By 20%, Decision Will Be Implemented From October

SpiceJet has decided to increase the salary of its pilots by 20 percent from October. News agency ANI has given this information by quoting sources. This latest hike in salary comes after the announcement of a six percent hike last month.

Captain Gurcharan Arora, SVP, Flight Operations, SpiceJet, has told all the pilots of SpiceJet, “In keeping with our commitment to increasing salaries along with improving business, our pilots and senior first officers will be in compensation for the month of October. Wage will be increased by about 20 percent.

The pay revision decision comes days after SpiceJet decided to send some pilots on leave without pay (LWP) for a period of three months as a temporary cost-cutting measure.
