Sooraj R. Barjatya-directed movie Uunchai is going to make its big arrival in the theatres on November 11, 2022. Having an array of star actors in the movie automatically becomes the most awaited film of the year.

In a Twitter post, Ashwani Kumar, ex-editor of Zee News Entertainment, explains the chart.

The movie stars iconic actors from the industry; Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika, Parineeti Chopra, and Nafisa Ali. Written by Sunil Gandhi, this Hindi adventure drama movie centers around friendship. The film’s official trailer dropped this Friday and the response is overwhelming.

The trailer does an excellent job of exposing the storyline where Denzongpa’s character dreams of climbing Mount Everest. But tragedy strikes and he dies before he could fulfill that dream. While mourning for Denzongpa, his three friends decide to honor his last wish and embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their friend on Mount Everest. This senior group of friends faces many hardships preparing for the trip due to their age and poor health conditions.

Movie critic Taran Adarsh reveals the run time of the movie on social media and the movie is about 2 hours 49 minutes long.

Another star of the movie Parineeti Chopra says, “Thrilled and honored to be a part of the iconic cinematic universe of Sooraj Barjatya sir.” She continues, “Sooraj sir has defined and is the torchbearer of India’s family entertainers and I can’t wait to work under his tutelage; alongside this stellar and incredible cast.”

The team started to shoot last year in Nepal and this year in April they wrapped up the shoot and began the journey of post-production. After the end of the shooting, Anupam Kher took to Twitter and shared an emotional message.

Bachchan sir also joined in and shared “Friendship was our only motivation to push all boundaries”

The cast recently went to the Kapil Sharma show to promote the film. Anupam Kher concludes his tweet by saying “I have laughed so so much that my jaws are still aching!”

Fans are very excited to see the film and they expect it to make a blast in theatres like Sooraj’s previous films ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, and ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ did once.
