25-year-old Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor gives Vogue India a house tour. Taking some time off her busy schedule Janhvi shows off her Chennai house which she admits is the first-ever property her mother Sridevi bought.

She opens the door and claims “The main entrance of the house is actually somewhere else, but according to Vastu this is the better entry.”
Flaunting her cozy look she takes the viewers inside the house. In the video, Boney Kapoor is seen working in his office room and Janhvi states ‘he likes to surround himself with 10,000 pictures of us’.
Talking about their large mansion-like house Janhvi explains, “It was very different when she bought it and she decided to do it up after she got married.”

Janhvi’s massive house is decorated with large paintings and textiles and the actor announces some of the paintings were made by Sridevi herself.
Walking towards the ‘memorabilia wall’ Janhvi reveals old pictures of her parents. Pointing towards Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s wedding pictures, the ‘Dhadak’ actor comments ‘Some sort of a secret wedding.’
She added, “This is mom and dad’s marriage photos. I think this was some sort of a secret wedding which is why they seem so stressed. I don’t know if I was supposed to say that.”
At some point in the video Janhvi shows off a secret room and claims she doesn’t know what is inside that place, she laughed it off saying ‘probably something shady’.

Apparently, Janvi spends most of the time in front of the large TV, accompanied by her sister Khushi. “I spend most of my time here with my sister,” she confessed. Broadcasting her father, Boney Kapoor’s interior choices, Janhvi says that he is most proud of the way he has done his bathroom. “He is very proud of his bathroom, in a way that’s kind of weird.” Janhvi also proudly showed off her mother’s first-ever painting hanging on one of the many walls in their Chennai house.
Janhvi declared that little things in the house remind her of the late actress Sridevi and thus she feels very attached to the place. “It just feels like a piece of her is in all of it. I think that’s why I feel like I’m so attached also.” Reminiscing childhood memories Janhvi shares that her mother did not allow young Janhvi to have locks on her bathroom door because she did not like the idea of her daughters talking to boys on the phone.
